Cinema, a fundamental tool for reconstructing the social fabric and our inner world, continues to “give people the opportunity to question themselves, get to know each other and deal with the images they see”, with events organized one after the other. One of these is the BLACK SILK TULIPS Short Film Festival held in Rome. During the festival, which takes place at The Space Cinema Moderno in Piazza Della Repubblica in the historic center of Rome, films focusing on war and social problems will be shown on the screen, while the public will make a cinematic journey with several interviews.
For 3 days, every day at 15:00, the heroes and authors of the works who have reached the finals in the different sections will be awarded. There will be open discussions with the participants. The White Death, whose number has increased recently, will be the star of the festival. The next will be the theme of “haters”. Introduced in collaboration with Rai Cinema and Rai per il Sociale, the Rai Cinema Channel Smile Award annually rewards work.
