Golden Globes 2025:
“Emilia Pérez” and “The Brutalist” win the most important awards
The 82nd Golden Globe Awards found their winners this year. At the ceremony, products such as Emilia Pérez, The Brutalist, and Shōgun stood out.
The winners of the Golden Globe Awards, which have been seen as the harbinger of the Oscars for many years and are among the most critical steps of the award season, have been announced. The awards were presented to their winners at the ceremony held in Los Angeles, with the presentation of comedian Nikki Glaser.
Jacques Audiard’s Emilia Pérez stood out in the film category, winning four out of its ten nominations. Selected as the Best Comedy or Musical Film, Emilia Pérez also won the Best International Film award. The Best Film award in the Drama category went to The Brutalist. In contrast, the Best Director award went to Brady Corbet.
Adrien Brody, who starred in The Brutalist, was awarded the Best Actor award for his performance.
Years later, Demi Moore, who played the leading role, won the Best Actress award for her performance in The Substance. Sebastian Stan, who was nominated for Best Actor in two different categories for two other films, won the prize in the Musical or Comedy category with his movie A Different Man.
On television, Shōgun won four awards, including Best Drama Series. While Hacks received the Best Comedy or Musical Series award, Baby Reindeer, one of last year’s hit productions, received the Golden Globe in the Best Mini-Series category. Jessica Gunning, who starred in the series, was selected as Best Supporting Actress in the television category.
