Kinder and Salmonella risk: All lots withdrawn in Italy
Vita gazette – The Ministry of Health has published the recalls for microbiological risk, with the expiry date and the reference number of the Shoko Bons concerned: “If you have purchased these products, do not consume them”.
The Ferrero Group has decided to withdraw from the market as a precaution also from Italy some batches of Kinder products manufactured at the Arlon plant, in Belgium. The recall only concerns the Kinder Schoko-Bons, produced on the Belgian site and not the other products. The company took this decision after the numerous cases of salmonella recorded in various European countries and linked to chocolate eggs. Ferrero has made the voluntary decision to recall specific production batches of Kinder Schoko-Bons with a preferential consumption date between May 28, 2022, and August 19, 2022. Ferrero also intends to reassure that it has not received in the last 6 months in Italy consumer contacts or complaints of indisposition following the consumption of Kinder products.
As for the 46g packs, the lots affected by the recall are the following:
L291, L292, L302, L307, L308, L313, L319, L320, L321, L329, L330, L334, L335, L347, L350, L354.
On the other hand, for the 125 g pack the lots are as follows:
L288, L291, L293, L301, L302, L306, L307, L310, L312, L313, L316, L319, L320, L321, L326, L327, L328, L329, L334, L337, L338, L341, L347, L348, L348 L351, L352, L356, L005, L006, L028, L029.
For those who have purchased these batches of Shoko Bons Kinder, the Ministry of Health advises not to consume the products.
