Golden Globe Awards: Winners Oppenheimer and Succession

The winners of the 81st Golden Globe Awards have been announced. The Golden Globe Awards, postponed to January 2024 due to the screenwriter and actor strike that shook Hollywood last year, found their winners at a ceremony held against the field last night.
Succession left the night with four awards, including Best Drama Series, in the television category at the 81st Golden Globe Awards presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, hosted by comedian Jo Koy. The TV series The Bear and Beef also received three awards each.
Oppenheimer led the way in the cinema category with five awards, including Best Picture. Barbie, which received the most nominations, won only two awards.
The Boy and the Heron won the Best Animation award, while Cillian Murphy received the Best Actor in a Drama award.
