After the sermon, at the end of the ceremony, the notes of “Silence” resounded in the Cathedral of Milan. Then everyone stood up to pay a last, long round of applause to the Cav inside the Church and outside, in the square. The coffin, carried on the shoulder, then left the Cathedral accompanied by a long applause from the many personalities who took part in the funeral.
