Eurochocolate 2025 in Perugia

A cloud of sweetness in the Perugia sky. For ten days, Perugia will become the Italian capital of chocolate. The new edition of Eurochocolate is dedicated to the theme of clouds.

With its delicious and lighthearted playfulness, Eurochocolate returns for its thirty-first edition. The new edition was unveiled from Friday, November 14th, to Sunday, November 23rd. Attractions, shows, tastings, and new features in collaboration with the City of Chocolate. The organisers are working with the City to improve accessibility. The new edition of Eurochocolate is dedicated to the theme of clouds.

Eurochocolate will fill the streets and squares with travelling shows, musical performances, and performances by the ChocoParade artists, the Choco Buskers, and the Choco Street Band. Numerous activities and products will be offered to visitors, starting with the “Cloud Space” set up in Piazza Matteotti. The former Merchandise Exchange will host the “Nuvolab,” designed to engage children and families.

Furthermore, there will be exhibition spaces featuring various European programs showcasing the Umbria Region, including an Advent calendar with 20 locations, a photography exhibition, and a special recipe book. Among the numerous in-depth events dedicated to chocolate, there will also be the conference “Half a Century of Head in the Clouds” on 50 years of climate monitoring in Perugia and 20 years of the national Linea Meteo network. The “Perfume Laboratory of Perugia”, curated by Carlo Sargenti, will debut, as will the special menu designed by Ada Gourmet for Eurochocolate, featuring three original dishes—”Dialogue between Fennel and Cocoa,” “Chocolate in the Woods,” and the dessert “Bean to Bar”—striving for the right balance between creativity and local tradition.

Starting this year, the daily “ChocoLab” events (tastings, insights, masterclasses, and the evocative cocoa ceremony) will be held in the new “LAB-Luisa Annibale Base,” directed by Roberto Caraceni. This historic venue on Via Angusta, used by Luisa and Annibale Spagnoli, will be inaugurated on Tuesday thanks to the financial support of Luisa Spagnoli SpA.

Trenitalia has announced special discounts for those arriving in Perugia by train and expanded connections, with a direct train from Rome at 10:00 a.m.
