The richest people in Italy: the new ranking

Vita gazette – Bloomberg News has listed the 500 wealthiest people. Today’s 500 richest “scroungers” index also features as many as six Italians who are active entrepreneurs in fashion, telecommunications, energy and Food & Beverage. In first place is Giovanni Ferrero.

The Bloomberg Billionaires Index is a ranking published by Bloomberg News with the 500 wealthiest people in the world. For its preparation, public and private data disclosed are considered, as well as the prices of shares and known shareholdings.

Bloomberg Billionaires Index, there are six Italians. The first in position number 27 is Giovanni Ferrero, who holds a capital of 38.9 billion dollars. It is estimated that the President and CEO of the multinational Ferrero have assets that have increased by about three billion compared to last year. Even Forbes magazine declared him the wealthiest man in Italy. Ferrero overtook Mark Zuckerberg in the classification. The Facebook founder, with assets of “only” 36.8 billion dollars, occupies the 28th position in the world’s ranking of the wealthiest men. On the other hand, Ferrero ranks at number 27 with 38.9 billion dollars.

The second is Paolo Rocca, a naturalized Argentine-Italian entrepreneur. Rocca is CEO of the Techint group, which manages companies such as Tenaris and Ternium, active in the energy, engineering, and construction sectors. Thanks to a capital of 10.5 billion dollars, Bloomberg places it at number 162 in the ranking.

Silvio Berlusconi in position 350. In addition to being active in Italian politics, Berlusconi founded the financial company Fininvest and, in 1993, the company Mediaset. Other companies also converge in Fininvest, such as Arnoldo Mondadori Editore and Silvio Berlusconi Communications. It is estimated that the Italian entrepreneur has assets of around 6 billion dollars.

 In the ranking of the wealthiest 500, there are also three other Italians operating in the fashion sector: Giorgio Armani, Miuccia Prada and Patrizio Bertelli. At number 471, Giorgio Armani with a rimonio pat that is around 4.8 billion dollars.

Miuccia Bianca Prada, stylist and entrepreneur, grandson of Mario Prada, is the only Italian woman in the standings. Prada ranks at position 487 thanks to its 4.7 billion dollars.

Three positions below the number 490 are Patrizio Bertelli, CEO of the Prada group and husband of the designer Miuccia Prada with 4.6 billion dollars. Miuccia Prada and Paolo Bertelli have led and transformed Prada into one of the most famous Italian fashion houses on an international level.

Looking at the complete ranking, the one in first place is Tesla founder and new Twitter owner Elon Musk with $ 203 billion, the second is Frenchman Bernard Arnault of the LVMH group, and the third is Gautam Adani.
