Humans, like us, who use the world for a limited time and then get involved with nature, love to celebrate. We respect it. But there is a problem: you are enjoying using the fireworks used to exorcise demons in China nearly a thousand years ago. And you brag about it! Do you know what happens to us when you celebrate out loud? You are ending our lives… Our house is falling apart… We are losing our children… Our parents are dying. You become a killer… You become a killer again… How?

Fireworks that explode with lights in the air, turn into bombs thrown at us from the air for us. Their voices are truly effective, like the bombs dropped on Hiroshima. When we heard these explosions, we were very scared again. We panicked. We skipped the fences to avoid the sounds. Those of us who were chained broke their chains. Some of us broke the windows to escape. We were thrown onto the streets. Some of us have died of heart attacks. Some of us have been crushed to death. Some of us died crashing into hard barricades. Some of us were killed by crashing into cars. Some of us have lost our homes. As before, the last one lost will not be found. They will not be able to return to their homes. What about birds, which are much more sensitive to sound!

Explosives used in New Year celebrations around the world have caused the deaths of thousands of cats, dogs and birds. More than 400 of our friends cats and dogs have died in Italy alone. The number of victims who have left their place in fear cannot be estimated. According to the first data released by the Italian Association for the Protection of Animals and the Environment, these figures are much worse than last year… When you generalize these rates to the whole world, it turns out that we are subjected to genocide in every celebration you do for fun…

This year we started a campaign with our articles, asking “do not touch us” and urging you to “not use explosives”. Nobody heard our voice. The regions where the greatest number of animals died are Calabria, Sicily, followed by Lombardy and Campania… For now… Human beings, however, who with their intelligence are in first place among living beings, live in hiding behind the iron mask of the Crown for about two years, hidden in their homes. We thought: “The disaster caused by the deterioration of the climate, the impoverished nature, the selfishness of not using the world in a fair and equitable way has been a lesson for all.” But we see that nothing has changed… Continue to live in your homes, behind the masks. You ask me why? For the innocent creatures of nature… For our safety… For the Earth… Otherwise we will all perish together…
