Turin, Capital of Cinema
From November 21 to 29, 2025, Turin returns to being the capital of the big screen with the 43rd Turin Film Festival. With world premieres, meetings, and awards, cinema rekindles the city.
The 43rd edition of the Turin Film Festival will take place from November 21 to November 29, 2025, under the aegis of the National Cinema Museum, chaired by Enzo Ghigo and directed by Carlo Chatrian, with artistic direction by Giulio Base. The Turin Film Festival aims to combine authorship and popularity, balancing independent cinema, world premieres, and major guests, but without TV series.
From approximately 6,000 titles, Giulio Base and his selectors chose the 120 films that make up the program of the Festival’s various sections: three competitive (Feature Films, Documentaries, and Short Films) and three non-competitive (Out of Competition, Zibaldone, and Retrospective).
La cerimonia d’apertura si svolgerà venerdì 21 novembre alle 18.45 al Teatro Regio di Torino, condotta da Laura Chiatti e Giulio Base.
