Hours of moments…

Despite the freezing crisis of the corona epidemic in the global village, companies, new products and communication platforms continue on their way. Watching companies, who think that no one can give up on watch fairs, exhibited their new models by organizing Geneva Watch Days 2021, which brought dynamism to the watch world, between 30 August and 3 September.

Bvlgari, Breitling, De Bethune, Gerald Genta, Girard-Perregaux, H. Moser & Cie., MB&F, Ulysse Nardin, Urwerk, Arnold & Son, Bianchet, Charles Girardier, Czapek, Doxa, Ferdinand Berthoud, Frederique Constant Group, Companies such as Greubel Forsey, Konstantin Chaykin, Louis Erard, Maurice Lacroix, Oris, Parmigiani Fleurier, Phillips Association, Bacs & Russo, Raketa and Reuge participated.

Bvlgari joins Geneva Watch Days with a range of new models. The Italian fashion house has been critically acclaimed with nine new products in four collection lines that include everything from precious and fine jewelery to sports watches and the surprise appearance of one of the most recognizable Disney characters.

Smiling, bouncing Mickey Mouse watches…

Gérald Genta Arena, purchased by Bulgari in 2000, started to manufacture the Mickey Mouse watch with a round and solid case. With their high complications and iconic case designs, these watches have become Genta’s coveted collectibles. Bulgari combined the smiling face of Disney’s most famous character, Mickey Mouse, with a watch. Mickey’s arm is the most important feature of the minute manipulator with its return mechanism. The eyes of the cute mouse, squinting with laughter, provide the cutest reading of time. There is also a time display that bounces and changes when the clock shows 17:00.

Ferdinand Berthoud

Ferdinand Berthoud, who is known for producing extremely complicated watches in small numbers, has also entered the steel sports watch arena, although it is not the only one of its kind. This model is the brand’s first model made entirely of black and also steel. The alloy is sandblasted and coated with a black DLC coating. Contrasts against the black background include gold hands and items such as sandblasted hour and minute counters, hour markers and red central seconds counter and backup aperture machined in a lighter matte material. On the flip side, the half bridges (made of sapphire crystal) are angled, engraved and red in color and surround the tourbillon holder and central seconds hand. It will be available exclusively at the Art in Time gallery in Monaco, and part of the proceeds will go to the Prince Albert Foundation in the French principality.

Ulysse nardin

Ulysse Nardin, co-founder of Geneva Watch Days, introduced five new models for the Marine Torpilleur collection while focusing on just one collection. All fitted with silicone escapements (the company was among the first to use the material in its Freak model in 2001) and marked with the signature “Chronometry since 1846” to announce Ulysse Nardin’s 175th anniversary. The combination of the classic look with the magnificent UN-128 caliber stands out as a perfect example of what makes Ulysse Nardin such a special brand.

Girard-Perregaux

Girard-Perregaux presented a very special version of “Three Bridges” to celebrate their 230th anniversary. Here’s a first look at the 44mm tourbillon in 18k rose gold with three flying bridges. As the name suggests, this is a pretty heavy mechanical achievement for their brand. Bridges act as support rods for the gear train, barrel and tourbillon. It also acts as the main plate on which the movement will stand. As a result, the skeleton fascinates as a symbol of absolute perfection.

Arnold and Son Globetrotter

World Timers has the unique charm of a magnificent and complex timepiece. They usually operate via a rotating 24-hour ring that displays the time for all 24 cities in the world simultaneously. However, in the Globetrotter example, let’s say this planet rotates differently: The 24-hour ring in the Globetrotter is fixed in place as it rotates within the hemisphere. It also uses the northern hemisphere as a reference point.

Urwerk

Urwerk has created a new circle with a new type of alloy inspired by the material used in ancient Greek coins with the triple satellite time display of the UR-100 model released in 2019. Concentric rings on greenish gold metal were both inspired by modern beauty. The design board includes everything from the stepped seating of an ancient Greek theater.

Sinn 103 Classic 12 Inverted Panda Chronograph

The Sinn 103 Classic 12 Reverse Panda Chronograph celebrates the brand’s 60th anniversary. Plus, it also stands out as a great expression of the brand’s great past. The 103 is the brand’s most iconic model, but none of the regular models even come close to this retro-inspired beauty. The Sinn 103 Classic 12 takes us back to the 1970s, when Sinn launched many shiny variations of the 103.

Breitling, Top Time Classic Car Capsule Collection

Breitling Top Time Classic Cars Capsule Collection offers classic sports watches from the 1960s and a model family that will make classic car lovers very happy. The extraordinary trio of chronographs was inspired by three icons of American automotive culture, the Chevrolet Corvette, Ford Mustang and Shelby Cobra. Therefore, while sending a meaningful salute to the 1960s, it successfully reflects the spirit of today’s modern-retro practice. Chronograph models are housed in stainless steel cases with orange, yellow or red and blue dials. The logo of each car is embroidered in detail on the back of the case…
