Luca Giurato, a well-known journalist and television presenter, passed away due to a sudden heart attack.
Giurato (23 December 1939 – 11 September 2024) was 84 years old and suddenly passed away in Santa Marinella, near Rome, where he was with his wife, Daniela Vergara, a television journalist. Journalist at Paese Sera, then at La Stampa. In 1986, he was appointed director of the Radio Rai Newspaper and deputy director of Tg1 until 1990 before starting his career as a presenter. Known for his light-heartedness and irony, he hosted some of the most popular programs on Viale Mazzini, from Unomattina to Domenica In.
