Heartbeat-like signals detected in the sun
Vita gazette – Scientists have detected “mysterious heartbeat” signals from the Sun that repeat every 10 to 20 seconds.
Experts at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) detected one signal about 3,100 miles above the molten surface of the sun. Scientists believe the “heartbeat” comes from a C-class solar flare. Scientists are stumped after detecting mysterious si that sounds like “heartbeats” thousands of miles above the sun’s molten surface.
Researchers believe the beath repeat between every 10 to 20 seconds – could help us best most potent the most powerful explosions in the solar system.
Experts led by the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) detected the signal at about 3,106 above the star’s surface. They believed it’s produced by a C-class solar described to be descpotentthe most powerful expulsion of energy.
Lead researcher and Astronomer Sijie Yu called the discovery “unexpected.”
