Torture in the heart of Venice:

“Barn owl for tourist photos”

Vita gazette- Street vendors working towards tourists have started crossing the border. This time, the barn owls, accustomed to living and hunting at night, were transformed into commercial material.

The demonstrators and street vendors, who we are used to seeing in tourist cities, have this time stretched out their hands to innocent animals. Two foreigners in Venice forced two barn owls to participate in tourist shows to earn a living. The nocturnal and solitary animals,

used to living in the shelter of the rocks, two young barn owls who were used in Venice as a tourist attraction by a couple of young foreigners, for photos charged 20 euros,

which rescued them from a kind of torture: passed from hand to hand among tourists, in the suffocating heat of the corns, forced to drink by force with a syringe to stay alive.

Venice, the two barn owls have risked death several times, so much so that they are no longer able to drink independently. Two foreign boyfriends made ends meet by mistreating them for profit. Immediately hospitalized, they will then be taken to the Cras di Modena, a rescue center for wild animals.
