SAG Awards 2025: Complete List of Winners
The countdown for the Oscars continues. SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Awards have found their winners. The Best Film of the Year was “Conclave”, while “Shogun” was the prominent production in the television category.
Awards season continues in Hollywood. The 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards have wrapped at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium and Exposition Hall, making way for the biggest award show of the year, next week’s Oscars. Conclave, a thriller about the election of a new pope, triumphed at the 31st edition of the Screen Actors Guild Awards, winning the main prize for best film cast. Shōgun, an epic look at feudal Japan, and Only Murders in the Building, a satirical murder mystery won the TV ensemble awards in the drama and comedy categories.
However, perhaps the best moment of the night belonged to Lifetime Achievement Award winner Jane Fonda, who gave a passionate speech in which she called upon her acting community to lead with “empathy.”
