The magical Christmas village of Rome
Vita gazette – Rome lights up for Christmas with Christmas World: the largest village in Europe from 3 December to 8 January. “Christmas World – Il Natale nel Mondo” will take place in the heart of Rome, the historic Villa Borghese.
After the great success of 2021, Lux Event is pleased to announce extraordinary news: From this year Christmas World will be organized in the most prestigious historic park in Rome, Villa Borghese in the Galoppatoio area, from 3 December to 8 January.
At Villa Borghese, a skating rink, a toy factory, and many live shows await you. Visiting Christmas World, it will be possible to walk in the heart of Berlin under the Brandenburg Gate; get lost in the London market with a view of Big Ben; let yourself be fascinated by the magic of Paris and the lights of the Eiffel Tower; get lost in charming Tokyo; and in an instant land in New York, to whirl on the ice runway of Rockefeller Center. The inevitable destination is the North Pole with Santa’s house, recreated by skilled set designers with a touch of originality.
Among the many novelties this year is the Safari area, a luminous zoo inhabited by animals made with the skillful technique of Zigong lanterns, in which all children, thanks to costumes and props to wear, will experience an adventure perfect explorer.
The innovative format, created by Lux Event s., thanks to its components with a strong communicative aspect, proves to be an educational and continuous discovery context, with Christmas initiatives and shows that will follow one another with real daily programming, parades and fashion shows of majorettes, gospel choirs, dance and magic shows, performers, acrobats, ice shows, live music with covers by the artists who sang Christmas and much more. Every day Santa Claus will cross the village in the company of his elves on board a train to greet all the children of the village.
The entire event is conceived, planned, and implemented in such a way as to minimize the negative impact on the environment, rationalizing the products and the energy invested, enhancing the territory that hosts it and providing for a planting activity to compensate for the emission of CO2.
