Love us not just for one day, but every day!

Today is World Animal Day. Celebrated annually on October 4th, the feast of Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, this day reminds you of your responsibilities and rights towards us. Purpose: To draw attention to the injustice done to animals and to raise awareness of our rights.

This year, the celebrations were held in accordance with the new world order, where ostentation prevailed over knowledge, love, respect, empathy, and compassion. Photos taken with animals were published on traditional media and social media. Love and responsibility toward us were expressed. But what was done for innocent animals, aside from the lucky pets? Nothing…

We are still persecuted in every part of the civilized world: in China, for example, live animals like turtles, fish, and frogs trapped in small plastic balloons are sold as “keychains”; those keys continue to be produced because someone bought them…

In the Philippines, chickens are eaten after being beaten to death; because they find tortured chicken meat more delicious…

In China, rabbits are confined in small cages; their feathers are plucked every three months and used in the textile industry…

In China, animals such as mice, insects, cats, and dogs are considered their traditional food. They painfully kill dogs by skinning them for food and to use their pelts.

The Chinese, who eat about 4 million cats a year, use their skin in fabrics…

In Mexico, they cover live insects in jewelry and sell them as brooches…

Dogs are hanged and brutally killed in Bulgaria, a tradition still maintained…

Thousands of seals are killed alive with sticks during the Canadian seal hunt every March.

In the annual festival in Spain, bulls whose horns have been burned are released to the public and then killed…

Hundreds of whales are slaughtered every year in Japan and Denmark. Millions of sharks are killed every year for fin soup, considered a sign of wealth and position in Asia. More than two hundred thousand animals are traumatically sacrificed at the Gadhimai Festival, traditionally held every five years in Nepal.

As part of religious and cultural ritual, the right to life of millions of animals is being destroyed through brutal methods and torture. In many parts of the world, animals are used as guinea pigs for cosmetic products. They gouge out our eyes, drag us behind cars, and burn us. All these massacres are taking place in this so-called “civilized” world…

As if all this weren’t enough, due to globalization and population growth, farms have begun to function like factories. Chickens kept in hen houses and fed to the point of bursting, cows denied grass and meadows, deer and pigs secretly released from the wild for sport and rushing to save the lives of the rich in “fun” hunting activities, reveal the torture inflicted on us…

Please, stop this selfishness and cruelty. Take care of the angel, not the devil, within you. We were born once, just like you. Our time, like you, is limited on this already extremely cruel planet. And we want to spend our time in happiness, not in pain.

On the other hand, remember that you are not the sole master of nature, but only a part of it. All living things are responsible for maintaining the balance of nature. But humans have more responsibility. Because we are creatures that truly need protection. Many of us may have muscular strength or skill. But we lack the most important thing: developed intelligence. Therefore, you can control all of us with this power that none of us possess. Either you protect us with your intelligence, or you can harm us all…

But remember, we’re all in this together! If this continues, we will all face the terrible future that awaits us. For this reason, we must support each other so that natural life can continue. We must respect and protect the ecosystem and the world we live in as a whole. You should always remember that we animals, like you, have senses and the ability to move. Torturing animals is a crime against humanity. Like you, we have the right to life. Love for animals also develops cooperation, benevolence, and feelings like love. Love us just because we are human… Protect us… Don’t torture us… And respect our right to life…

The awareness of being human is not an advantage, but a responsibility. It is not domination, but equality… It is not exploiting, consuming, and destroying, but protecting, producing, and creating… This is the direction of the path that the real person takes…
